This side of things is so new to me, writing about myself, trying to sell myself to people that don’t know me. So I’m going to just have a casual chat about me, and hopefully, that will work for now.
I’ve slowly been taking pictures more and more over the past 5 years, starting out thinking I was going to university for Film Studies. While playing around with my camera and seeing what I could do, I slowly started to become much more interested in the photography side.
Whilst working at The Yog Bar in Hoylake (SO nice if you’re local and still haven’t been) I took the odd picture for their social media while on shift, which was always a bonus because I often got offered the food after taking the pictures!
I’m sure a lot of people can relate to losing a loved one and realising just how important pictures can be, and that’s something that I’ve come to realise really resonates with me. I always have this in the back of my mind when taking family pictures and that’s why I always spend the time to make sure we’ve got as many pictures as we can. I absolutely love being able to create these memories for you all and give you something that you’ll look back on in years and have so much love for.
As well as the Family pictures you’ll also see a couple of other categories if you head over to my gallery page. I may not be able to draw to save my life but I’ve had a love for a lot of other creative areas over the years, having done dance, drama and film studies, and working in a theatre. This is why I love pushing myself to capture other images. I love adapting my style to fit what I’m capturing, whether that’s for branding shoots, working with you to create images that fit your brand, or finding creative ways to photograph a product.
With working at a theatre, I love events and miss them so much as so many do currently. I’ve had the pleasure of capturing a variety of events from behind the scenes, capturing those who make the shows happen, to the best kids party I’ve ever seen, to some gorgeous bridal shows and a wedding. There’s always so much going on at an event, no matter which way you look and I love to capture as much of that as possible, capturing the emotions and the details.
Another one of my biggest passions is animals, I just absolutely adore them. So I’m always thrilled to have them involved in the pictures. Whether it’s a dedicated dog photoshoot for those people whose dogs are basically their children, or for a horse because everyone knows that horse people love anything to do with horses. You are also more than welcome to bring the dog along to your family shoot or have a photoshoot that’s Instagram ready of you and your favourite furry friend.
I think that’s about it for the time being, but I look forward to getting out there and capturing some more moments and getting to know so many more of you lovely people.
